I agree with everything said below, a unique park that is nice and clean and is away from everything. The folks are friendly and we had an escort to our site, and assistance on backing into our site. The sites are back to back, so you share the utilities with about 10 to 12 feet in between the back of the 2 campers, not including slide outs. The sites are offset, so the front to front space is large. As C2C, we had to pay $2 extra for cable, $2 extra for sewer, and pay for Wi-Fi. the road is narrow coming in, but still manageable. We will be back.

We stayed here as Coast-to-Coast, as stated by other post, very nice CG. Office folks were not overly friendly. Sites are pretty large, but the CG was 1/3 full, and they put another camper right behind us, so when we walk out our door, the camper is 10 feet from our door. Poor planning to say the least, especially since 2/3 of the CG is empty. No sewer hookups either (although there was lots of sewer site available), had to pay $7.00 for honey wagon. We would stay here again.

This is a nice park, staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Roadway in is blacktop, the rest of the campground is stone. Lots of trees, which could make it a little difficult to back into a site. We had site #19, which is a back in. Most of the back ins are pretty short, cant park the truck in front of the camper, but plenty of room to park beside the camper. Wi-Fi is free and works fine, cable is $2.00 extra per night. Water and electric are fine even with the campground being almost full over the weekend. Campground is a little away from the battlefield, but we would definitely stay here again.

This is a VERY nice campground, we stayed in Site 82 Tulip loop with full hookups. Sites are large and very private with picnic table and fire ring. 50,30,20 amp service, but the 50amp plug is only a 3 prong plug, old style, so 50amp will probably will not work. This State park has lots to offer, flat roads, great for bike riding, beach area, fishing pier on the Chesapeake Bay side, beach fishing on the Potomac River side. Boat and kayak rentals, etc..., but the mosquitoes and deer flies are terrible.

We arrived after a heavy rain and the campground was mud with standing water in the camp sites, all the sites are grass, no stone or pads at all. The person at the office didn't mention anything about all the mud. There is a sign in the office saying "No refunds for early departure." All roads are gravel with lots of little pot holes, so going is very slow. After 4 days, the sites are still mud, with ruts from where campers tried to get out and spun tires. This campground is real close to a railroad track, so train whistles happen all the time. Water pressure could be a little higher, electric & sewer were fine. No cable, but the 3 major channels came in fine. Free WIFI, but it onlyworks 80% of the time. Only 3 washers/dryers, and 1 dryer is broken, not enough for this size campground. Nice little fishing pond but no one used it. Probably wouldn't come back again, especially if it rained. If they would stone the sites, this would be a very nice place to camp.

Typical KOA, good full hookups, cable clear with lots of channels, WIFI strong and quick, easy access from the highway. Mostly pull thrus with very few back-ins, sites are plenty wide and long enough for motor homes with toads. Would stay here again without a second thought.

As stated by other reviews, this a very nice campground. We stayed as C2C, but they also accept Passport America. All utilities are good, free cable, WIFI good but you have to go to the club house for it. Sites are back-ins with concrete pads and fairly level with Live Oak trees everywhere, lots of leaves everywhere too.We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here as C2C, $15/night with an extra $3/night resort charge. We were the only campers in the transient area, but this area is just inside the gate, so on the weekend, lots of traffic noise from other folks zipping through the resort. Good water/electric/cable, but had to pay for WI-FI. This park is really a trailer park, with 3 sections for transient campers. If you come here, request a site back by the river, or down by the boat storage. I cant imagine how noisy it would be if it was summer time. We would stay here again, but ask for a site in the back.

The campground is behind Carolina Crossroads Theater right off I-95 at exit 171. This is a fairly new campground, only open 14 months. They are still in the process of building the club house and pool, so there is only 1 bathroom way in the back and no washer/dryers yet. There are 2 different kind of sites, Deluxe, which is a pull thru with cement pad and blacktop runways, sites are fairly level too. Regular site is all gravel with a cement pad for the picnic table. All the shrubs are small, so there is no shade at all. Water, electric & sewer are good, but no cable, but free WIFI. TV reception is poor to marginal, even with digital, only 1 or 2 prime channels come in good. We would come back without a second thought. This Campground is a Passport America and Good Sam member.

Stayed here as C2C and was told that only 4 C2C guests were allowed at once. Sites are all the way in the back of the park, past the mobile homes and seasonal trailers. Black top roads all the way, but site roads were gravel. Electric and water was good. All sites are back ins/back to back sites, most very short, our 30 foot 5th wheel barely fit into site, good thing no one was across from us or else I'd never have fit, but all sites were about 35 feet wide. Sites facing the river were long, but all were taken. Bath houses are for Life Style Resort guests only, so they were not accessible to us. Will definitely stay here again, but hope to get one on the sites along the river.

Roadway in is paved, but the rest are gravel. Sites were gravel and a little unlevel, needed 2.5 inches on street side to level out, most sites have shade trees. Seasonal sites are on the outside perimeter of the campground. Power and water were fine, utilities were at the center of the site, so access was very close. Bathrooms were dated and well used, but clean. Campground is right across the street from the Battlefield, but you have to go down the road to get into the Battlefield. This campground has horses for you to take into the battlefield for a horseback tour, we don't ride. Would go back again, and would recommend this campground to anyone.

Virginia Landing is a Naco/Thousand Trails private Campground. We stayed as Coast to Coast members, so we paid $10.00 a night. Campground is 5 miles from Quinby, VA. The roadway in is VERY LONG and narrow, and no signs, no place to turn around if you had too. Campground main road is paved, but the rest are gravel. Sites are grass with a cement pad for the picnic table, fairly wide and all back ins. Only 14 sites with full hookups which are out in the open. The rest are either in the open or in tall pine trees with only water and electric hookups. TV reception was fair to poor, although you could go to the lodge and watch satellite TV and internet using their wireless setup. Lots of seasonal trailers, most have been converted to homes, and park trailers. Even a couple of homes have been built there. 2 bath houses, the one by the seasonal was in terrible shape, paint pealing off the floors and walls, cob webs everywhere, just not kept up at all. The other bath house had the washer/dryers in them. This one was better, but still well used and not maintained. We were there in mid to late September, and the mosquito’s were terrible, if the breeze was not blowing, they were eating you alive. You couldn’t come out at night, you’d be eaten alive then too. There is the bay on each side of this campground, so there is marsh everywhere. I would say in its day, this was a beautiful campground, but the grass was long, and the sites are not maintained very well at all. We probably would stay here again, but only for a day or 2, although it so far off the beaten trail, we’d probably try somewhere else first.

This is a Coast to Coast campground, so we paid $10 a night with a $2.00 electric user fee, so $12.00 total a night, stayed 7 nights. All roads in campground are paved, bath houses are nicely spaced all through the grounds, clean and usable, but a little dated. All sites are back ins, with lots of sites backing up to the river/streams that run through the grounds. WI-FI is free and worked well, no cable, but antenna reception was very good. This campground is 25 minutes from Virginia beach resort area, with lots of shopping on you way to the resort area. Going the other way out from the campground, the ocean is 5 minutes away in Sandbridge. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a Blue-Green resort, so they like to try to sell you a time share. Its also a Coast to Coast Resort, so we paid $20.00 a night. There is a new section of 84 campsites, all sites were concrete pads with concrete patios with furniture and gas grill with outside sinks, AMAIZING!! These sites opened in April of this year. Booked our stay through C2C, and when we arrived everything was set and ready. Sites are not level, had 3 inches of boards under street side of camper. Roads are blacktop with gravel on top. There are back-ins and pull thrus, Presidential sites have jacuzzi on the site. Cable was turned on the day we arrived. No WIFI yet, but its coming. Security guard at the gate from 1PM to 9PM, had our paperwork in hand, check in time is 2PM, checkout is 11AM. This resort is huge, includes a golf course, its 15000 acres with a 60 acre pond. Lots of cabins and yurkes and a 48 room hotel and restaurant, lounge and patio, and horses. CG is away from the hotel, 1.2 miles away, so its a long walk to the lounge for happy hour. They are going to build new swimming pools and a store and amphitheater for the campground area. Over the 4th of July, there was maybe 25 campers, after the weekend, there was 4. This place is so new, hardly anyone knows it exists. Lots of construction going on cause they are building new cabins across the way, along with the pools, amphitheater, and store. They are also suppose to build walking/bicycling trails along the way too.

This is a Coast to Coast Campground, so it only cost us $10.00 a night. Office assistant was nice, but not too overly friendly. She gave us a site that was down hill to get into it, and it looked like it was only 25 feet long once it leveled out. We looked around and found another site that was better. Most of the sites were growing weeds in the gravel, grass in between the sites was not cut. Sites are heavily wooded, so lots of shade. The sewer hookup was in the back of the site, so we had to get another 15 foot of sewer hose, 30 feet in all to reach the sewer connection. Bathroom at the Campground was just OK, clean, but just OK. BUT, there is a club house over by the pool that is amazing, HUGE building, 1st floor has exercise room, jacuzzi, game room, snack bar, & clean bathrooms. 2nd floor is the adult lounge. Its all open with huge fire place and couch and lounge chairs with a huge screen TV. Pool is very nice too. WIFI was $3.00 a day, and you had to sit inside the office to use it. We went into Front Royal to a Cafe that had free WIFI. No cable, and TV reception was poor, even with the digital box, we only received 1 channel. Campground is 5 miles away from the entrance to Skyline Drive. Oh, and the gnats were horrible. In you face all the time, unless the wind was blowing. And they have some kind of water system on the other side of the fishing hole, and it really smells bad.

This campground is very old, it looks like an old KOA. Resort Parks International rate was $13.90 including tax, per night. It is a really long drive into the campground. The interior roads are more dust than stone, as is the sites. The sites are fairly wide, about 25 feet with lots of tall pine trees for shade. The office help were sort of friendly, building is old but clean. The bathroom was the same, old but clean. The laundry had 3 washers and 4 dryers, very small room, with a little table for folding your cloths, but kind of dirty. There are full hookups with cable, WIFI was free, but office said its free for now. The water pressure was good, and the water tasted good too. This campground is between Savannah GA and Charleston, SC, right off of I-95. We would use it again for a stop over.
